Affectionately known as the original Summit food blogger, Angie was an active and well-known part of her local community. She gave selflessly of her time and talent, and will be dearly missed by the family and friends she loved and who loved her unconditionally in return.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to prevent you from future solicitations - Angie’s family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad

Two Summit women, Sis Barker and Betty Bangs, who were members of the Junior League, decided to start a First Aid Squad in Summit. With the support of Overlook Hospital and local businesses, the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad was established in 1962. The Summit First Aid Squad today has over 90 active members and answers more than 2,000 calls for help each year. The technology, level of care, and training have increased significantly over their 50+ year history, but one thing that has not changed is their commitment to delivering quality patient care at no cost to the residents and visitors to Summit.
